Make sure the Proctorio app is installed on your browser. It can also appear on a slow or unstable connection. If it continues, try the following steps:

  • Reload or refresh the page.

  • Clear your browser cache and restart your browser.

  • If possible, try testing in a different supported browser.

  • If possible, try testing on a different device or network.

  • Contact IOB support if the issue persists

Fails Microphone or Video on the Proctorio system test

Make sure your microphone and camera are on and viewable by Proctorio. If using Bluetooth devices disconnect these from your computer.

Access Code or Password Required

There is no password set on this system it’s likely the result of a browser, device, or setup issue. Please try a different browser or uninstall/reinstall the Proctorio extension

macOS – Default Browser Privacy Settings

On macOS, privacy controls in the default web browser may prevent access to the camera and microphone. Please review your browser’s privacy and security settings and ensure that camera and audio permissions are enabled and allowed for the Proctorio extension.
