Thank you for completing your module registration!
When the trimester starts, your IOB Learn dashboard will update with your module card. This will contain all your programme resources and materials for the trimester.
At the beginning of the trimester your programme manager will be in touch with further detail, but see below for some common FAQs.
Q. When does the trimester start?

Trimester 1 Autumn 2025 start date: 29/09/2025
Trimester 2 Spring 2026 start date: 03/02/2026
Trimester 3 Summer 2026 start date: 08/06/2026
Please note that some modules e.g. Grad Dip in Financial Planning may have a different start date, and this will be communicated to you in advance by your programme manager.
Q. I don’t see anything in IOB Learn for my module
You won’t see your module card in IOB Learn until the trimester start date.
Q. When will I get my module content?
Your module content and resources such as your study guide and trimester timetable, will be made available via IOB Learn once the trimester starts.
If there is any content visible before this date it may be in relation to a previous iteration of the module and will be changed / updated when the trimester begins.
Q. What are my exam/assessment dates?
Assessment dates vary by module and will be included in your study guide when the trimester begins.

Continuous assessment modules show the end of trimester date as a placeholder; your exact assessment dates will be shared with you once the trimester starts.
Q. How do I contact my programme manager?

Q. I need to defer my module, how do I do that?
You can defer your module without penalty up to 6 weeks after the trimester start date. Please contact our support lines at [email protected], by phone on (01) 611 6500, or via our chat function.
Once the 6 week timeframe has passed, you will need to re-register for the next sitting at a cost of €200 and your grade would be capped at a D-. If you have extenuating circumstances, please review the extenuating circumstances policy here: Student Info - Assessment
