Level 8 & 9 Programmes: Your Application and Registration Journey
If you are planning to study a Level 8 or Level 9 programme with IOB, there are two important stages to complete:
1. Application
2. Module registration
Being approved for a programme does not mean that you are automatically registered for your modules. Follow the steps below to understand the process.
Step 1: Choose your programme
Choose the Level 8 or Level 9 programme you would like to study and review the programme entry requirements before applying.
Make sure you meet the relevant requirements and have any supporting documentation you may need ready before starting your application.
Step 2: Submit your application
Complete the online application for your chosen programme and upload any required supporting documentation.
Providing all required information when you apply will help avoid delays in processing your application.
Step 3: Your application is reviewed
Once submitted, your application will be reviewed.
During busy periods, applicants should allow approximately 5–10 working days for an application to be processed.
If additional information or documentation is required, this may delay the application process.
Step 4: Your application is approved ✅
Once your application has been successfully reviewed, you will receive confirmation that it has been approved.
What happens after approval?
Approval means you are eligible to proceed with the programme.
However, there is still one important step to complete:
You must register for your module(s).
Your programme will become available for registration, allowing you to move to the next stage of your journey.
Step 5: Register for your modules 💻
Once your application has been approved:
Log in to IOB Learn
Go to Quick Links
Select Module Registrations
Choose your programme
Select the appropriate trimester and module(s)
Complete your module registration
Once you have successfully registered for your module(s), you're ready for the next stage.
Step 6: Start your studies 🚀
Registering early doesn't necessarily mean that your learning materials will be available immediately.
Your module content will become available in IOB Learn when your trimester begins.
At that point, you can access your module and begin your studies.
⭐ Important: Application approval and module registration are different
Application Approved ≠ Module Registered
Think of it this way:
Choose → Apply → Review → Approved → Register → Start
Receiving an application approval confirms that you can proceed with the programme. You must then complete your module registration separately.
